The hotel is conveniently located next to Gare Sud, despite this we did not have any issues with noise. The room was clean and spacious, the shower was quite big, which was an unexpected bonus, the hotel provides towels, shampoo, shower gel and hand soap; I did not use it but there was also a hairdryer. In the room we found a Nespresso machine with some coffee pods as well as a kettle with some teas and infusions. The staff were very welcoming and they looked after our luggage when we checked out, as we had a train later in the afternoon.

Great location strainght at Rennes central railway station, same time surrounding area is modern, quiet & well maintained. Easy access to city downtown area within walking distance. Friendly and helpful english-speaking personnel ready to assist you.

I liked the location. The staff were very helpful. The room was big and modern with a very clean bathroom. The breakfast was exceptional and I liked the fresh fruit which you don't often see at breakfast.

I like that when you stay in Ibis you know what to expect. The hotel was very clean, the room was big, the shower was excellent and the bed was comfortable. The staff speak English and are friendly and helpful. The hotel is situated right next to the train and bus station which makes it a good base for travelling to other places in Brittany. The room faced the women's prison which in fact is a beautiful historical building in a green yard. There are shops and restaurants nearby, and the area looks safe.

The location is excellent and easily accessed from the train station. The staff were very helpful and changed the room on request. The breakfast is exceptional and probably the best aspect of this hotel.

Standard Ibis room with a great mattress, good-tasting breakfast, very friendly staff. Location right near the train station is also great to explore Rennes and Bretagne without a car.

Easy access to the train station. Very clean in the hotel and surrounding area. Felt safe walking to get dinner. A nice town. Perfect for one or two night stay. We stayed one night - arrived by train and collected hire car the next morning so suited our needs.
